Sheboygan Falls is a city in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States whose population was 7,775 at the 2010 census. The city is known as the hub city of Sheboygan County. Additionally, Sheboygan Falls is sometimes called "The Brick City", mostly because most of the cities buildings are made from or have bricks. Sheboygan Falls has a mini metro population of 18,691. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city took its name from the nearby falls on the Sheboygan River. It was also called Rochester for a brief time. ==Geography== Sheboygan Falls is located at (43.730, -87.821), along the Sheboygan River between its confluences with the Mullet and Onion Rivers. Rapids and a dam, which once supplied hydroelectric energy, prohibit most water transportation through the city.
